CPRD extends a big THANK YOU to the Newberg Community Foundation for the generous donation of $1,500 toward the creation of the Dundee Skate Park.
Project costs are estimated at $80,000. The goal of the CPRD Dundee Skate Park Committee is to raise $18,000. So far, the committee has raised about $10,000 through bottle and can drives, art auctions, dances, community service and T-shirt sales. The committee has also received in-kind donations for concrete and excavation, the Newberg Rotary Club donated a piece of equipment, and the Dundee Farmers' Market donated $200.
Mark your calendars for the ribbon-cutting ceremony slated for Sunday, Sept. 12th.
