Chen Man Ching Tai Chi is a set of movements that are preformed slowly and precisely. It can help you relax your muscles and calm your mind while improving your balance, strength and flexibility. Studies show that Tai Chi is used for healing and preventing many health problems.
Despite the martial intent, Tai Chi is a low-impact, slow-motion exercise. The motions are taught through repetition and deep breathing for focus and meditation while improving balanceand building muscle mass. The movements are adapted to each individual's body type. While some people may see immediate benefits, most people will have long term benefits through continual practice.
Tai Chi is practiced by the young and the elderly, from the most fit to people to people who are recovering from surgery or have existing health/physical problems. We invite those that wish to challenge themselves to a new art form that is centuries old.
