2012 Newberg Camellia Festival

The 4th Annual Newberg Camellia Festival will be held April 14. This isn’t your average celebration of a city flower! The Newberg Camellia Festival is a jam-packed day full of blooms, entertainment, traditional art and demonstrations that will highlight the cultures of Asia and the Pacific-Rim.

This year the festival has expanded to feature a large indoor garden that will host an exciting line-up of performances, demonstrations and vendors. Between acts, nosh on traditional Asian, Polynesian and Pacific-Rim flavors.

If the entertainment wasn’t enough, view the hundreds of perfect Camellia specimens on display for the Oregon Camellia Society’s Annual Show. The Camellia Festival also welcomes an honored guest, the American Camellia Society’s President, Matt Hunter.

Come See Us at Old Fashioned Festival!

It's time! Thursday through Sunday this week is Newberg's annual Old Fashioned Festival, and we have some fun things planned for the CPRD booth. Stop by for a sneak peek at the new CPRD website, to launch this fall. Win a prize by identifying people in photographs from bygone days of the District. Talk with our staff and board members, pick up a Dundee Skate Park T-shirt, and more. We've also got some sweet things we're getting ready for the parade. See you there!
