One step closer to big-time skate action: We laid the irrigation and did the final grading for landscaping at the new Dundee Skate Park Sept. 17th.

Ribbon cut on Dundee Skate Park

Ideal weather made for an enjoyable ribbon-cutting ceremony on CPRD's new Dundee Skate Park, which took place during Dundee's Party in the Park on Sunday, Sept. 12th. Master of Ceremonies Debra Manning brought together key speakers, including the mayor of Dundee, to extend accolades to the skate park committee for their dedication and success in making the dream a reality.

Concrete was laid on Saturday, and a group of dedicated skaters pitched a tent to keep an eye on it overnight.

Ground breaks on Dundee Skatepark

Ground was broken on the future Dundee Skatepark Friday morning, Aug. 20, 2010. Mark your calendar for the ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon on Sunday, Sept. 12th, at Dundee-Billick Park during Party in the Park.
