Chehalem Senior Center is honoring Mary Kreth. Mary passed away on Dec. 24, 2011.
Mary often would help sort books in the library. She managed the ongoing group puzzle and involved herself in every youth activity the senior center has coordinated.
Register now for the second session of Tiger Cub Basketball, scheduled to begin Jan 7 at Crater Elementary School.
Tiger Cub Basketball is designed for the youngest of players, in grades K-2. Students will have a fun-filled hour of dribbling, shooting, passing, teamwork, and camaraderie under the direction of Ed McCabe, each Saturday thru February 4.
Class sessions at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. have openings with an early registration fee of $35.00 in-district and $45.00 out-of-district if registered before Dec 31. Tiger Cub’s regular registration fee of $46.00 in-district, $55.00 out-of-district begins on Dec 31. Each participant will receive a basketball the last day of camp.

Take time this season to help a child make an original gift. Choose from a number of projects and prices on a first-come, first-serve basis. Projects usually include working with beads, fabric, wood, ceramics, painting, and more. Also enjoy a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. No need to register in advance.
